As a Brand Design Lead at ROY, a hospitality-focused interior design and branding firm, I created an original brand for a soon-to-open restaurant. The tone here was traditional and familiar, met with the warmth of the hearth, the burn of the scotch. I used a rich edible color palette of butters and browns, complemented by a garnish of greens. The serif typography spells legacy and sophistication, but it’s not all serious; a bone is thrown to a puckish dog character in the illustration, who reflects the brand ethos of loyalty and service.
